Week 1

Introduction to Course – First Meeting

 

Week 2-3-4

 

Reading and Writing

 

Students will

·        read a variety of paragraphs and texts to locate information

·        isolate information in reading texts to answer knowledge based questions (matching, multiple choice, yes- no, wh- questions)

·        check an e-mail to find and correct spelling mistakes

·        write a few paragraphs to respond to an e-mail

·        complete a few charts

Listening and Speaking

 

 

Students will

·        listen to dialogues and  extracts to complete sentences and match the information

·        listen to dialogues to identify the main points

·        extract the specific information to answer questions (yes/no questions, wh- questions)

·        ask/give information on some topics

·        express their opinions about the given statements

·        interview their partners using a questionnaire

Students will

·        listen to dialogues and  extracts to complete sentences, make notes and match the information

·        listen to dialogues to identify the main points and do multiple choice questions

·        extract the specific information to answer questions (yes/no questions, wh- questions)

·        interview each other by using a questionnaire 

·        discuss some situations in groups

·        listen to dialogues and extracts to complete sentences and match the information

·        listen to dialogues to identify the main points

·        extract the specific information to answer questions (yes/no questions, true-false, wh- questions)

·        describe places according to the listening text

·        interview their partner using a questionnaire

·        agree or disagree different topics and state their reasons

·        complete sentence halves
